DRUMKiDZ Music Development Programme
Weekly KiDZ drumming workshop
DRUMKiDZ weekly lessons are now available in Somerset West.
We get children aged from 3 to 9 years of age drumming and singing to stories, songs and loads of exciting drumming games in our action-packed, high-energy 30-minute lessons. The children love it! Thousands and thousands of children have attended the programme at various schools over the last 5 years in and around the Cape. Your child can now come and experience the magic of our programme.
This unique djembe drumming programme is incredibly powerful and works on so many developmental levels – in an age of so much technology and other distractions, it heightens acute listening skills, ability to focus intently and develops self confidence. It’s also a whole heap of fun too, designed to lift energy levels and helps children feel connected as a group.
The four week programme and lessons are every Thursday afternoon.
Time: 13h30
Cost: R140 for 4 lessons (30 minutes each) payable in advance / Casual attendance R45 per lesson.
Venue: Church of Christ (classroom 4), cnr of Irene Ave and Lourendsford road, Somerset West

"All I can say is THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH – as a parent it is quite a challenge to please a teenager, so I was quite nervous about the whole thing…they try their best to be so cool and I was scared that the drumming wasn’t going to be ‘cool’ enough. The minute I met Kyle I knew I could relax – fantastic guy with a fantastic bubble of energy wrapped around him. We watched the video again yesterday and just by looking at the kids’ expressions you could see that he had them entertained the entire hour – social network was abuzz yesterday with the ‘aweh’ party of Mila’s.
